Spend your in-game dollars to permanently boost your gathering speed and combat damage. Upgrades carry through the session and can be pushed even further through the Prestige system.
Commands
| Command | Description |

/upgrades | Open the upgrade UI |
/mystats | See all your active bonuses in chat |

The UI
Opening /upgrades shows two tabs at the top:
- GATHERING MASTERY — resource and farming skills
- COMBAT MASTERY — damage skills for NPCs and events
Your current balance is shown in the top-right corner. Each skill row displays:
- Your current total bonus
- How much bonus you gain per level at your current prestige
- A progress bar showing how close you are to max level
- Your current level and prestige count
- The UPGRADE button with the cost highlighted green (can afford) or red (can't afford)
- The PRESTIGE button, which unlocks once you hit max level
Gathering Skills
All gathering bonuses apply as a percentage increase on top of normal yield. They work on node mining, tree chopping, animal skinning, ground pickups, quarries, and farming plots.
| Skill | What It Boosts | Bonus Per Level | Starting Upgrade Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stone Mining | Stones from nodes & pickups | +10% | $2,500 |
| Metal Mining | Metal ore from nodes & quarries | +10% | $2,500 |
| Sulfur Mining | Sulfur ore from nodes | +10% | $2,500 |
| Woodcutting | Wood from trees & pickups | +10% | $5,000 |
| Skinning | Animal flesh, cloth from hemp | +10% | $5,000 |
| Fishing Yield | Extra fish per catch | +1 fish | $50,000 |
> Fishing works differently — each level adds a chance at one extra fish per catch rather than a percentage, with fractional levels handled by a random roll.
Combat Skills
Combat bonuses increase the damage you deal to specific enemies. They apply to all weapons including guns, melee, and explosives.
| Skill | What It Boosts | Bonus Per Level | Starting Upgrade Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scientist DMG | Damage vs. scientists & heavy scientists | +1% | $10,000 |
| Patrol Heli DMG | Damage vs. patrol helicopter & attack helicopter | +1% | $15,000 |
| Bradley APC DMG | Damage vs. Bradley APC | +1% | $15,000 |
> Combat bonuses are smaller per level than gathering bonuses by design, since a 10% damage increase against Bradley would be very powerful. At max prestige the gains add up significantly.
Upgrade Costs
Upgrade costs scale exponentially — each level costs roughly 2.2× the previous one. Plan ahead and save up before pushing to higher levels.
Stone Mining example (cheapest skill):
| Level | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1 | $2,500 |
| 2 | $5,500 |
| 3 | $12,100 |
| 4 | $26,620 |
| 5 | $58,564 |
| 6 | $128,841 |
| 7 | $283,450 |
| 8 | $623,590 |
| 9 | $1,371,898 |
| 10 (MAX) | $3,018,175 |
| Total to max | ~$5,531,000 |
Skills with a higher base cost (Wood, Skinning, Fishing, Combat) scale up from a larger starting point — check the UPGRADE button cost in the UI before committing.
Prestige
Once a skill reaches Level 10, the PRESTIGE button unlocks.
What prestige does:
- Resets the skill back to Level 0
- Permanently increases the bonus you gain per level going forward
- Each prestige rank costs more than the last (costs double each time)
Example — Stone Mining:
- Prestige 0: each level gives +10%
- Prestige 1: each level gives +12% (10% + 1×2%)
- Prestige 2: each level gives +14%
- Prestige 5: each level gives +20%
- Prestige 10 (MAX): each level gives +30%
At max prestige and max level, Stone Mining gives +300% yield — four times the normal amount.
Prestige costs (Stone Mining example):
| Prestige | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1 | $250,000 |
| 2 | $500,000 |
| 3 | $1,000,000 |
| 4 | $2,000,000 |
| 5 | $4,000,000 |
| 10 (MAX) | $128,000,000 |
> When someone on the server achieves a prestige rank, it is announced in chat for all players.
Tips & Strategy
Start with gathering, not combat. Gathering upgrades pay for themselves — more resources means more things to sell or use to earn Economics dollars. Combat upgrades are a luxury for later.
Stone, Metal, and Sulfur are the cheapest entry point at $2,500 base cost. If you mine regularly, these will feel their value immediately.
Don't ignore Skinning. At $5,000 base it's affordable early and applies to both animal corpses and hemp plants. Cloth income from farming benefits from it too.
Fishing is expensive but powerful. The $50,000 base cost is a late-game purchase. Once you have prestige ranks on it, each catch can yield several extra fish.
For combat skills, Scientist is the cheapest and most useful early since scientists appear frequently at monuments. Heli and Bradley are better investments once you're regularly farming those events.
Prestige is a long-term goal. Don't rush it — the first prestige on any skill costs a lot and requires re-levelling from zero. Focus on getting multiple skills to max level first before prestiging any of them.
Check /mystats regularly to see your full bonus list at a glance without opening the UI.
Watch /upgradetop to see where you stand against other players — total prestige across all skills is the ranking metric.
Wipe Behaviour
Upgrades reset on server wipe. You will receive a wipe notification message the first time you connect after a wipe so you know your data has been cleared.
