About these terms
By using our services or making a purchase you agree to these terms, together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our server rules. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use your personal data.
Age
You must be at least 16 to use our services or buy from the store.
Your account
You sign in with Discord and link your Steam account so we can deliver perks in-game. Please keep your accounts secure and use a real email address so you get your receipts and payment reminders.
Purchases and virtual items
The store sells VIP perks, in-game items and gift codes for use on our servers. Prices are shown in GBP at checkout and include any VAT that applies. Your contract with us starts when your payment is confirmed.
Virtual items and perks have no real-world cash value and can't be transferred or resold. We give you a personal right to use them on our servers. We follow Facepunch's Community Server Guidelines (opens in a new tab) for monetisation.
Delivery
Perks and items are delivered automatically, usually within a few minutes, while you're connected to one of our servers with your Steam account linked. If something hasn't arrived, open a ticket on our Discord (opens in a new tab) or email support@forgepoint.xyz and we'll sort it out. If we can't deliver what you paid for, we'll refund you.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout until you cancel. If your first payment is discounted, checkout shows the first payment and the recurring price separately. We'll email you 7 days before every payment.
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard (Dashboard → Subscriptions → Cancel subscription), from the Cancel subscription link in any reminder email (no login needed), or by emailing support@forgepoint.xyz or opening a ticket on our Discord (opens in a new tab). You keep your perks until the end of the period you've paid for. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Your legal rights, cancellation and refunds
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you're entitled to a repair or replacement or, if that isn't possible, a price reduction or refund.
You can cancel within 14 days of purchase unless you asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged losing that right at checkout. If you cancel a subscription later, you keep perks until the end of the period you've paid for.
If we permanently close a server or service, or materially reduce paid perks during a period you have paid for, we'll refund the unused part. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of any subscription price change, and you can cancel before it applies.
"Lifetime" perks and gift codes last for as long as we run the service. If we close it, the closure refund above applies to any unused value.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us first; this does not affect your right to dispute a payment with your bank. While a dispute is open we may pause the perks linked to that payment. Accounts may be closed for fraudulent disputes.
Server rules, suspensions and bans
Buying perks doesn't exempt you from our server and Discord rules. If you break them, we may warn you, or suspend or ban you from our servers, Discord or store.
If we suspend or close your account for a serious or repeated breach of our server rules, you won't get a refund for the current period. If we close your account for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part. If you think a ban is wrong, open a ticket on our Discord (opens in a new tab) or email support@forgepoint.xyz and a member of staff will review it.
Don't try to get around a ban, for example by using another account, device or IP address. To detect ban evasion and fraud we check account, IP address and device information when you log in, link an account or check out. Our Privacy Notice explains how this works.
Online safety and reporting
You must not post or share illegal or harmful content on our website, game servers or Discord, including threats, harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, terrorist content, fraud or scams.
You can report content or behaviour that worries you:
- by email to support@forgepoint.xyz
- by opening a ticket on our Discord (opens in a new tab)
- in-game, by messaging a member of staff
Staff review every report and remove illegal content swiftly. We may also suspend or ban the accounts involved and, where the law requires it, report to the police or other authorities. If you're unhappy with how we handled a report or a moderation decision, email support@forgepoint.xyz and someone not involved in the original decision will look at it.
Changes to our services and these terms
We regularly update our servers, perks and game balance, and regular server wipes are a normal part of Rust. If a change materially reduces perks you have already paid for, we'll refund the unused part or let you cancel.
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or our services. We'll tell you about important changes before they apply to an active subscription, and you can cancel if you don't agree.
Availability
We work hard to keep our servers online, but there may be downtime for maintenance, updates, wipes or problems outside our control, such as attacks on our servers or outages at our hosting provider. We aren't responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, but we'll keep you updated on our Discord (opens in a new tab) and try to minimise the effect. If a long outage means you lose a significant part of a period you've paid for, contact us about a refund for that part.
Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaking your legal rights in relation to the digital content we supply.
Our services are for personal, non-commercial use, so we aren't responsible for business losses.
Facepunch DLC
We don't restrict access to any official Facepunch DLC you've bought. If you own it on Steam, you can use it on our servers.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law. If you are a consumer you can bring proceedings in the Scottish courts or, if you live elsewhere in the UK, in the courts where you live. If you live outside the UK, you also keep any protection given by the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
If a court decides part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
