How to Get Started

To begin your bounty hunting career, you'll need to purchase a License. Once you have your license, you're ready to start tracking bounties!

Hunting Bounties

• Who are the Bounties? Your targets are not other players, but specialized Scientist NPCs. These scientists are equipped with enhanced combat logic and weapon support to provide a unique challenge.

• Where do Bounties Spawn? Bounties will spawn randomly and dynamically at the majority of official Rust monuments, ensuring diverse and unpredictable hunting grounds.

• Tracking and Combat: Track down these formidable scientists across the map and engage them in combat.

Cashing Out Your Rewards

After successfully eliminating a bounty, it will leave a Bounty token in loot, and you'll be able to cash out your rewards. Bounty Trader NPC can be found in the Outpost next to the Tunnel entrance.
