As a Bounty Hunter you track down Scientist NPCs across the map and claim rewards for killing them.

How to Get Started

To begin your bounty hunting career, you'll need to purchase a License. Once you have your license, you're ready to start tracking bounties!

Hunting Bounties

Who are the Bounties? Your targets are not other players, but specialized Scientist NPCs. These scientists are equipped with enhanced combat logic and weapon support to provide a unique challenge.
Where do Bounties Spawn? Bounties will spawn randomly and dynamically at the majority of official Rust monuments, ensuring diverse and unpredictable hunting grounds.
Tracking and Combat: Track down these formidable scientists across the map and engage them in combat.

Cashing Out Your Rewards

After successfully eliminating a bounty, it will leave a Bounty token in loot, and you'll be able to cash out your rewards. Bounty Trader NPC can be found in the Outpost next to the Tunnel entrance.
