Arctic Base Event Overview

The Arctic Base Event plunges you into a high-stakes scenario at the Arctic Research Base monument. This event unfolds a critical narrative of sabotage and capture, requiring brave players to intervene.

Your Mission: Rescue the Captives

The primary objective of this event is to rescue two vital individuals: a scientist and a pilot. Both have been captured following an attempted sabotage on the Arctic Base and are being held by a hostile security group. Your success in this mission will mean their freedom and the potential disruption of the security group's plans.

The Adversaries: Hostile Security Group

Be prepared to face a well-organized security group. They are under orders to deal with the attempted sabotage and are actively holding the scientist and pilot. Expect significant resistance as you attempt to breach their defenses and secure the captives.

Location: Arctic Research Base

All the action takes place within the confines of the Arctic Research Base monument. Familiarize yourself with its layout to gain an advantage against the security forces and efficiently navigate the complex during your rescue attempt.

How It Works

• The event starts automatically with a notification about sabotage

• Free both the scientist and pilot from captivity

• Protect the scientist while he researches a corpse (takes 60 seconds)

• Snowmobiles with enemy NPCs will attack to stop the scientist

• The pilot needs 60 seconds to repair the escape helicopter

• After they evacuate, you get access to a warehouse with loot crates

Important Notes

• Better loot if the scientist survives the evacuation

• The security team will send everything they have at you during the escape

• The minicopter might need extra repair time since it's "Rusty"

• Work with friends - this event is designed for groups
